Schaitberger Claims Unsubstantiated Allegations and Irresponsible Actions
Our hypocrite-in-chief
In a recent email to IAFF leaders, he says the allegations have been “leveled against our union, our Board and me personally.”
The “irresponsible actions,” he says, are “intended to do great harm to our union solely for someone’s own personal political gain.”
He goes on to assert that these actions “have resulted in the government issuing subpoenas for records to the IAFF, Secretary-Treasurer Emeritus Thomas Miller and me.”
Unsubstantiated Allegations
The allegations charge is an old Schaitberger trick, to wrap himself in the IAFF flag. It hasn’t worked in the past and it doesn’t work here.
Any allegations are not leveled at our union but rather at those who have corrupted it, including Schaitberger and the majority of the board.
No matter what he thinks, Schaitberger is not the IAFF.
The intent is the exact opposite of his claim; we wish to save the IAFF, not destroy it.
That’s done by both exposing and then dealing with the corruption.
Irresponsible Actions
Schaitberger then labels revelations regarding his self-dealt and improper pension and his vacation day payment scam as “irresponsible actions.”
When he unilaterally and unethically exposes a fellow IAFF member to public notice over false allegations, as he has done in the past, he’s being virtuous; when news of his corruption is revealed, it’s an irresponsible action.
Schaitberger, as always, wants it both ways and always for his convenience and profit.
Is more proof needed that he is a world-class hypocrite propped up by his henchman?
The Feds
Finally, he states that the allegations are the sole basis for federal intervention as if dropping the Justice Department a note automatically triggers subpoenas.
Another aspect of Schaitberger’s hypocrisy is his need/desire to be seen as either omniscient and all knowing or completely ignorant, whichever suits his needs at a particular moment.
As an example, he currently claims that he magically received a pension twenty years ago that was then enriched and then made retroactive and it was all done without his knowledge or desire.
Only those on the Schaitberger dime, or wishing to be, will believe the notion that the pension getting/enrichment/retroactivity scam was conceived or implemented without his full involvement.
Thus, the only irresponsible action is his continuance in office.
