FDNY & Covid: Last Day on the Job?

“Unvaccinated Lives Matter”

New York Mayor Eric Adams reaffirmed his position to terminate unvaccinated workers, including firefighters, at the end of the day.

Actually, Adams maintains they are “quitting,” a position sure to rankle the holdouts.

NYT reports that earlier in the week, marchers walked across the Brooklyn Bridge carrying signs with “Fire Fauci” and “Unvaccinated Lives Matter.”

Slogans which simultaneously hint at political motivations and racism by reference.

Who doesn’t know that Dr. Anthony Fauci is the nominated and confirmed bugaboo of the lunatic anti-vaccine fringe?

And Unvaccinated Lives Matter is, of course, a play on Black Lives Matter, as tone deaf and in-your-face example of passive racism as you are likely to ever run across.

Both slogans confirm the illogical nature and anger fueling the holdouts while confirming the falsity of the notion that their protest is about a mandate.

Meanwhile, FDNY members have their own organization in support of “personal choice” in the workplace, Bravest for Choice.

You can show your support by purchasing the $33 dollar tee shirt:

Complete with an emblem which effectively says nothing and means anything.

The average U.S. Covid death rate is 2,575 a day and increasing.

Cheers.
