Another Attempt on Trump?
The chickens come home to roost.
Trump went golfing on Sunday in West Palm Beach and was apparently visited by another would-be assassin who was shot at before he could shoot.
A signal feature of politician Trump is his constant use of violent rhetoric which appeals to many of his followers.
That’s not new — violent rhetoric is the foundation of fascist politics.
Trump’s climb to prominence is rooted in race hatred and nationalism as were the regimes in Germany, Italy and Japan.
There’s something about authoritarianism which uncorks the normally sealed bottle of communal hate.
A consistent feature of fascism and its language is the propensity to engage in assassinations of political leaders.
The world-wide brush with fascism in the 1930's included assassination wherever it was found: Germany, Italy and Japan.
Nothing Trump is doing or saying is materially different from what his fellow fascist brothers have done before and the results are the same.
By his thoughts, words and deeds he has welcomed the lunatic fringe onto center stage and ironically become the target.
Duck and cover, Donnie.
